I never believe any coach when they comment on possible job offers and the like. I don't know why anyone asks. Whether they have or haven't been contacted, the answer is always the same in essence.

Doesn't come in to play if he leaves them before Feb 1st, which for our sake, if he's our guy I hope he's already been settling in to his office by Feb 1st.

There are several variables though..........1. He went to school there. 2. Grew up nearby (Anniston), 3. Jacksonville has fairly nice facilities.....AND it's own board that does not try to sabotage them. He is a heck of a coach though.

Easy there Seabisquit. My sources tell me he wants the UAB job. Before you question me I know where almost as many bodies are buried at JSU as I do UAB. The question really is does UAB want Bill?

I wonder what his request would be? Certain recruiting budgets? Certain pay level for his assistants? (we do pretty well there), Promises/time line on new football facility?..... None of the above? All of the above, plus some others? He is a very good coach.
