It would help the SBC if NIU lost this game. Might be able to squeeze a 3rd bowl if that happened because they wouldn't bust, and a 2nd Big 12 or PAC 12 would, opening an extra bowl.
BG leads 10-7 early in the first. Defenses need not apply, and Jordan Lynch is really good.

I don't know who BGSU loses, but I think we open with them next year. They are looking pretty darn good in this one. Also, that Moore guy is a freshmen so he is going to be tearing up defenses for a few years to come.

Depends. It means either the Big 12 or PAC 12 will place two BCS teams.
If Baylor goes, Big 12 leaves the Texas Bowl open. That game has a Big 10 tie, and no backup that I can find. My guess is they would try to take an Extra PAC 12 team like Arizona. Which helps our I Bowl chances
If Oregon goes, PAC 12 has only one extra, and that is Oregon State...whose lost 6 straight games.

Hows this for hurting a conference?
By winning tonight, Bowling Green costs the MAC an 8 million dollar pay day that would have been divided amongst all 13 teams, including BG. In addition, this forces NIU to a MAC Tied bowl, most likely costing them at least one bowl team.
