Just got the official word on the Rice pre-game party this Saturday:

Since Owl Club memberships start at just $50, a good option is to go ahead and join the Owl Club now -- then you can go to the pre-game party for free, while also making a small donation to Rice.

They should hold the party on upper east concourse. There's plenty of room and it's out of the weather.

Drove by Tailgate Owley today and the tents are up. There are more of them than usual, and they seem bigger as well. (I did not notice any fire pits being dug or space heaters installed.)
