Alger: Forced to show his cards? - Purplehazed - 11-16-2013 08:47 PM

Any new coach hire tells us what cards Alger is holding. His opponent, time, just went all in and Alger has no choice but to call and show his cards or stuff his junk like Buffalo Bourne and quit competing.

Nobody on this board can seriously think an up and coming coach is going to come to Harrisonburg not knowing JMU's football future and the hire's resume tells us if JMU's future is an empty BFS playing fcs or a reenergized football program playing CUSA/MAC/SB opponents with a great OoC schedule.

History says we get absolutely no communication until the very last minute when the admin is forced to react again.

Word to those saying Mathews will be back, if so, there is our answer, next years coach can't compete in the CAA and JMU is left behind playing fcs while our peers build.

I personally think Mathews will be back, JMU would burn $3M in potential donations before paying two football coaches.

Accountant vs. entrepreneur thinking.

I'm seriously not trying to be rude, but I have no idea what this sentence means.

I agree. Must still be drunk after watching that pathetic performance for 3 quarters earlier this afternoon/evening.

He is saying that if MM is back we should get used to more of the butt-hurt we are experiencing at the hands of SBU. At least, that is what I think he is saying.

Chauncey Gardner couldn't have said it better. (I kid, I kid.)

Yeah. I tried to diagram that sentence. I got a headache and gave up. I get what she's saying, though, and I agree (Purplehazed is a female, right?).
