my power ratings week 1 - stever20 - 11-14-2013 01:29 PM

I'd have to say-
1 Creighton
2 Marquette
3 Georgetown
4 Villanova
5 Xavier
6 St John's
7 Seton Hall
8 Providence
9 Butler
10 DePaul

kind of dinging Providence until see what happens with Dunn situation. Actually surprised with Seton Hall, though have to see a bit better compeition- Kent St not too bad though.

Mine, for fun

1 Marquette - real test is this weekend
2 Creighton
3 Georgetown
4 Xavier - surprising
5 Providence - any ACC win gets props, even if it is BC
6 Villanova - struggled for most of game vs. Laf
7 St John's
8 Seton Hall - Kent St. is not bad, road win vs. Temple under belt and SHU was up double digits most of game
9 Butler
10 DePaul - up early on So Miss, squandered that opportunity

I think my Hoya's may be down to #10 now after today's bad loss to Northeastern(who lost to Boston U and Stony Brook earlier this year)

If LBSU manages to upset Michigan, I will be praying to god that VCU loses/throws the FSU game.

well, considering that it's 32-15 Michigan right now, I don't think that'll be the case :)

I just wonder how soon until we see these 8 team bracketed tournaments end- replaced by more formats like the 2K sports classic where the sf are set ahead of time. I mean, for Puerto Rico, today is a disaster.
