"Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanESPN 2h
@GaryParrishCBS By the way, your boy Tarik looked really good yesterday."

"Gary Parrish @GaryParrishCBS
@Goodman ESPN Bill told me Tarik's been the best big at Kansas in practices by a wide margin. Good for him. Hope it translates to games."

"Brian Snow ‏@BSnowScout 2h
@GaryParrishCBS @GoodmanESPN It definitely wasn't even close yesterday. Tarik was clearly the best big on the floor."

Good for him. It says a lot for how's he performing over there when he's garnering more praise than Lotto pick Joel Embiid and stud Perry Ellis. Kansas is shaping up to be a force this year.

FYI, Barton is impressing people here in Knoxville too. Our two transfers are doing quite well for themselves.

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.

The steps up Mount Oread can get quite slippery in the snow and the shadow of a half-assed effort.

Didn't Black and Barton quit on their team?

So did Pellmon.

Looks like Black has strapped on his snow-chains though. Ballin' out there.

It's.... different.

I wish them well...they didn't want to be here and that's fine with me. They both need to be where they are happy. Life is too short for anything less.

So every positive Tarik tweet warrants a new thread. You're his #1 fanboy...go home and rub one off to your Tarik fathead as you're obviously obsessed with him.

Absolutely true, although I can't speak to either's happiness or unhappiness.

No, I included 3 tweets in this one thread. I did not make three separate threads for each of the three tweets.

If you don't care for Tarik news, then don't open the thread. There's no reason to get upset.

I hope he does well. However, there is a track record and Hawk fans aren't as accepting of bad efforts as we are....if you can believe that.

Some of my former Jayhawk classmates are skeptical despite the reports.

The Jayhawk fans I speak with are loving Black, although most of them are pretty vocal on wanting to get the young guys PT over a senior who won't be here next season.

FYI< Pellom is outplaying 5 star prospect ANichols also...Black never had problems with bullying guys, he had problems with guys outworking him. Black will be a force though, he was almost always a mismatch in the post.

Well, that's true.

"Jason King ‏@JasonKingESPN 15h
Wayne Selden was also very impressive. Tharpe is leaner and carrying himself w/ much more confidence. Love the toughness Tarik Black brings."

This one is interesting because the number one knock on Tarik by the anti-Tarik club is his heart.

Ahem...I take exception to that comment.
