What could be/have been.... I imagine Alabama State(Montgomery-South) and UAB(Birmingham-North) would be favorites if UAB had an OCS.

My guess would be no.

There are way too many home town reasons for this not to happen.

I like this...This would not only be a great idea, but more than fair. Why should the Super 6 be relegated to only just 2 collegiate institutions around here? I wouldn't expect any resistance from the "Aubies" about this, but you can bet your bottom dollar, this will not go over with the "Updykes", expect maximum resistance to this should UAB actually acquire an on-campus football stadium in this century.
