+1! Aw, man! The Jackets were so close this year...I would love to have seen them make it, perhaps next season will be their time at last....In the meantime...GO PENGUINS!!!

Winnipeg even closer than Columbus, if the new playoff format was in effect, Winnipeg is in the playoffs right now out west.

Blue Jackets came about from the fact the city made the Blue Jackets for the Union army. Many also don't know, the city was also involved in making some of the jackets for the Confederates too, but prominently for the Union army.
Also, even though the Blue Jackets lost out to the Wild in a tie breaker for the playoffs, many teams feared the Blue Jackets as they were one of the hottest teams in the NHL over the past 15 games. Over that time, we found a goal tender. Next year looks really good.
