This seems to be a problem around WMU's campus. Students or recent grads crossing the street and getting hit by a car.

W. Michigan is getting more and more "walking traffic" every year it seems. I can only imagine how many kids cross that street on a daily basis.

Please be careful when crossing. I don't like these types of stories.

Reminds me of the girl who was killed crossing Howard when I was there five or six years ago... though she was crossing in the middle of the road, and not at a crosswalk.

She was my friends roommate. RIP.

This most recent incident, or the one on Howard?

Either way, sorry for your (and their) loss. People need to pay more attention, especially around a busy college campus!
