Perhaps we can use a thread like this so people can tell others what they are doing (or did) in case others are looking for something to do or want to meet up from now until game time?
Can we get this in important threads?

I'm staying in Boca Raton on 1/1/13.
On 1/2/13 I'm headed to South Beach, weather permitting (and I assume the weather will be good) for the day.

Just got done eating dinner in little Havana and fighting with a crook for a cab driver. Staying at Marriott downtown Miami. Thinking we will head to south beach tomorrow or airboat ride in the Everglades.

For those interested, Kid Rock will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood Sunday and Monday nights. This is a great hotel and casino, and a short trip from anyone staying near the Stadium.
FYI, most airboat tours are noisy, windy, and unless you want to see a swamp and a bunch of alligators, are overpriced. Go to South Beach, the Grove, or Bayside...the sights will be much better.

I happen to love Key West, but at the same time it is not the most "family friendly" place. Still cool to go to the southern most point in the continental US. From Miami it is about a 3 hour drive...all over water.
Islamorada is a neat little town to stop at as well.
However, a very cool experience is the Miami Seaquarium. They do an amazing swim with the dolphins that gets you much more close than the one at SeaWorld in Orlando.
I think if you are up for it, and if the weather will cooperate, take the drive to Key West. The drive itself has some gorgeous scenery for a day trip.

How is the Seaquarium other than the dolphin show? I was thinking about checking that out.

For the kids, the Miami Zoo is great. At Islamorada(Upper Keys) Theater of the Sea. Ft Lauderdale-The Discovery Center/Kids Museum with Imax. Jaxson's Ice Cream -Dania Beach(Check out the Kitchen Sink). Miami Aquarium is very nice. Bahia Yatch Basin(Ft Lauderdale) , usually the kids are interested in what the fishing charters bring in.No cost except for parking. Followed by a walk along the beach-usually some live music.

Just hanging out in my hotel after flying over 3000 miles from Seattle... It was awesome to see the NIU billboard thanking fans on my way to the hotel.
