Duquesne is 23rd in the nation in rebounds per game. We are 72nd.
They are 6-5 with the following results...
Losses:
@ Albany 69-66
@Georgetown 61-55
North Dakota St 57-43 (neutral site)
Pitt 66-45 (neutral site)
@Robert Morris 91-69
Wins:
James Madison 90-88 OT
Youngstown St 84-74
@Appalachian St 73-72
Maine 87-73
New Orleans 88-70
West Virginia 60-56 (they were down 13 at the half)
3 of their top 4 scorers are frosh. Lots of guards and wings that can play...somewhat thin on the inside.
Their rotation goes 9 deep.
Winters is 6'5"
Marhold is 6'6"
Pantophlet is 6'7"
Abel is 7'1' (11 mpg)
That's as big as they get. Which is even more impressive that they are 23rd in the nation in rebounding.
We should have a nice size advantage....and i expect them to have an advantage in quickness on the wings and guard spots.

Slightly off topic. I just looked at the A10 standings to see where Duquesne falls.
16 teams in the A10. Only 3 have a losing record right now. Duequesne has the 4th worst record in non conference.
Has anyone noticed how loaded the A10 is now? The top 8 teams are pretty darn good.
