After watching #NIU, have to at least think about #Huskies QB Lynch on #Heisman ballot.

Jordan finished seventh getting three first-place votes, eight second-place votes and 27 third-place votes for a total of 52 points. He was eight points behind South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney and five ahead of West Virginia's Tavon Austin.

Obviously Johnny Manziel is expected back in 2013 for his sophomore year with (#4) Southern Cal's Marqise Lee, (#5) Ohio State's Braxton Miller, and (#6) Clowney all projected to be juniors if they don't turn pro or become ineligible.

Extremely proud of Jordan Lynch, his teammates and the 2012 Huskie football program, but as an old-timer I feel compelled to give props to Mike Korcek. To think LeShon Johnson finished sixth in the Heisman voting back in a season when NIU wasn't on ESPN even once and the team record was 4-7 --- that's one hell of an achievement. Some on this board have their reasons for thinking Korcek could be a prick, but he worked his ass off on behalf of Huskie athletes. Last I heard, he doesn't have a way to get to Miami. Hope this is wrong, but a third or fourth party indicated his eyesight keeps him from driving long distances. Again, hope this is all just gossip, but if any of that is true, I'd hope some alums might help him out.
