Obama wins Fla., topping Romney in final tally - PirateMarv - 11-10-2012 02:38 PM

"President Barack Obama was declared the winner of Florida's 29 electoral votes Saturday, ending a four-day count with a razor-thin margin that narrowly avoided an automatic recount that would have brought back memories of 2000.

No matter the outcome, Obama had already clinched re-election and now has 332 electoral votes to Romney's 206.

The Florida Secretary of State's Office said that with almost 100 percent of the vote counted, Obama led Republican challenger Mitt Romney 50 percent to 49.1 percent, a difference of about 74,000 votes. That was over the half-percent margin where a computer recount would have been automatically ordered unless Romney had waived it... ."

Thank me and my liberal/communist friends for getting out and voting in Florida. We made the difference in the outcome. 04-bow

Losing an election is a little like losing a football game. If the loss is by one state (or one point), you torture yourself with "what if's?".

But if you lose by four states (or four touchdowns) you just walk away and start getting prepared for the next election (or game).

Florida is always screwing things up.

Shocking that math was correct again. If you couldn't see these results coming by Wednesday morning then you are too far gone

Massive Voter Fraud in St. Lucie County, FL – 141% Turnout

Quote:Only one precinct had less than 113% turnout. The unofficial vote count is 175,554 registered voters 247,713 vote cards cast (141.10% ). The National SEAL Museum, a St. Lucie county polling place, had 158.85% voter turn out, the highest in the county.

When asked about the 141% Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker stated, “They may have had something like that in Palm Beach County, but we’ve never seen that here.”

Once again folks post stuff here without bothering to check the facts.

Paul M here are the official vote totals in St. Lucie County for 2012. Obama 53.8, Romney 45.4, about 114K total votes.
In 2008, it was 55.7 Obama and 43.5 McCain and about 120K total votes.
In 2004, John Kerry won this precinct with 51.8 pct (to 47.6 for Bush) - about 100K total votes.

All three of those years are very consistent. It appears it's a slightly Democratic leaning county with probably a growing Hispanic population is my guess. None of those years look inconsistent at all with the national results or the Florida results.

That number you posted probably counts all the provisional ballots people had to do as they filled out Florida's confusing ballot this year. They weren't ever going to be counted so why make a big deal out of it. It's not voter fraud - it's just a confusing ballot that made people have to take an off day from work to vote so they could stand on line all day.

Yeah, our ballot was 3 f*cking pages this year, 12 amendments which is ******* absurd. I wouldn't be surprised that that's causing problems.

I do not know what "cards cast" means. They us ethat term in Alaska also.

Anyhow if you go to page 3 of your PDF it is clear that the number of votes cast in the presidential race was far fewer than what they call "cards cast". So are you saying that actually counting the votes caset is fraud?
