So basically they are saying that either the players do not do what the defensive coaches are teaching them or that they do not have enough innate talent to handle it? Sounds like what 90% of what coaches would say, putting it on the players. They may be right, but have doubts of that. Most of the time it is in the way the coaches get it across to the players, IF they have the correct defensive philosophy and set up.

What they're saying is the same thing the commentators were saying: the safeties are looking into the backfield too long and leaving the middle of the field wide open. These are good players, but are busting coverages often. If they stop falling for every play-action fake, it'd help the unit, as a whole. That's my personal opinion.

our defense is a complete and utter embarressment. The offense put up 48 points, 721 yards, zero turnovers, and 37 mins T.O.P., and we still lost.
That is totaly BS. I swear, if Larry doesn't cut JR loose this off-season, he will find himself in hot water with the fans.
