That score was ridiculous. For any of you at the game.... IS USM just off the map this year? I have never seen them get throttled like that by anyone in the conference before.

USM aren't what they usually are but our offense is really good too. Its not just Cato either. We ran 85 plays yesterday, 7 under what we normally run. We had 43 passes and 42 runs. Our 3 RBs run by commitee, any of the 3 Watson, Butler or Grooms could be a #1 back anywhere. Grooms was a Miami commit before he was flagged by the NCAA.

It was one of those games where our offense could have honestly scored 100. Our offense was just on another level compared.

USM had time of possession also. Marshall had the ball 29:37 and USM 30:23. Thats how quick our offense can and does strike. Our avg scoring drive was 2:19, and had 2 scoring drives under a min.
I seriously think we could have scored at least 2 more times if we would have kept the pace up. When Blake Frohnapfel came into the game the hurry up was slowed down somewhat.
I thought it was kinda funny when in late in the 3rd or early in the 4th the two announcers was wondering if they thought the NCAA would look into slowing these offenses down by have the ball spotted a little slower. Why would they do that, they didn't make them modify the "Wildcat" (the winged T optition).
