The Greatest CUSA Quotes of ALL-TIME. What are they? - MU ATO - 09-27-2012 09:50 PM

Now that CUSA is losing some of its long time members, I thought it would be funny, interesting and a way to take a trip down memory lane. What are some of the most memorable quotes from anyone that was involved in CUSA. Coaches, athletes, anyone.

Criteria:
Who said it.
What was it that was said
Background and in this day and age of You Tube a video would be cool too.

Past members too and it can also just be quotes in general not just pertaining to CUSA but anything a CUSA school's person said that was memorable.

Regarding the Big east raiding CuSa for Louisville, Cincinnatti and others, Britton Banowsky said "the most important thing is that everything is done in an orderly fashion"

Mike Price: "it's Rolling, baby"

2008 UAB Memphis game. Orange Jumpsuit UAB fan to Pierre Niles: "$&#% ?€#*#$". And then he was slapped.

Art Briles' pregame "Put that sh*t on paper" speech is still a favorite with Coog fans. It's just unceremoniously, "Texas".

With Louisville coming to Southern Miss this weekend I am reminded of a comment made after UL came to Hattiesburg and killed us in 2000. After the game, Louisville's coach or qb one made the comment "We wanted to beat them so bad that not even Brett Favre could lead them on a comeback."

Watson Brown: "The conference champion will have three losses."

When the Bearcats were first invited to the Big East Huggins called Calipari "The highest paid mid-major coach in the country."

On a Memphis fan who had been given Huggins grief for years "When in the hell is that guy going to graduate."

Chris Crawford on Memphis' comeback win (from an 18pt deficit ) at USM two seasons ago

"We saw their little buttholes get tight."

John Calipari (two days before taking the UK job)

"Memphis is where I want to be"...

oh wait, you said GREATEST, not most FOS...

A little off topic, but not really...................

Quote:"This is the hottest thing going", Schnellenberger said. "We've got the best stadium in America, and we're enlarging to 65,000 when we get into the Big East Conference."

Is the Big East really where he sees FAU eventually landing?

"Sure it is, where else?" he said. "That's been our goal since the beginning. We're not going to go in Conference USA, I'll tell you that."

they would have joined CUSA in a New York minute.

When the cops finally get their hands on Howard's huge collection of kiddie porn, I'll be laughing as loud as anyone.

I'm not kidding.

DePaul's Tom Kleinschmidt scores a basket, points to UAB's Chad Jones on the bench, screams, "How you like that, ************?!?"

Ref T's Kleinschitt. "What the **** was that for?"

Ref: "Don't use language like that on my court."

Kleinschitt: "Why the **** not?"

Second T and ejection.
