Jimmy J did a bunch of these a few years ago. He caught "officials" constantly breaking laws they either made or were bound to uphold. Every time ...they got pissed off when he caught them. I think I heard that he finally got arrested by the NYPD for one of these vids. I never heard what happened to him. Good stuff.

Cops are scared sh*tless thanks to the technological revolution. In some aspects, our loss of freedoms are scary (CCTV/GPS/etc) but there is a current change in the citizens favor with the ability to quickly disseminate images and video that implicates those taking advantage of the power they've been granted.

The new dash 360 cams are the sh!t. They transmit the data via the web to your home. Even if the cops destroy or confiscate the equipment, the video is captured remotely.

Really? The NSA sexually assaults people at airports everyday. Prosecutors fail to indict police for wrongdoing 95% of the time. Even if it's caught on camera.

yea, you are right, cops are scared sh*itless. 01-wingedeagle

Sure, that's why they try to confiscate the video whenever they can, they're not scared.

Scared they might only get a one week paid suspension instead of two?

Well, they try really hard to intimidate citizens, often telling them (incorrectly) that taping them doing their work is illegal. Some fall for it and get intimidated but those who know the law and their rights don't fall for it. It's when the police get out of control that they get really angry when they see citizens filming them.

In my neck of the woods, the cops almost always got a slap on the wrist when they recklessly beat somebody and then the tape surfaced. The folks are fed up with it and believe that cops should face much stiffer penalties.

Most people do not understand the the police are trained to get you to incriminate yourself. Have you ever noticed when you get stopped by the cops that they immediately ask you a question...like...Why were you speeding? ..or..Why did you not have on your seat belt? The questions are designed to get you to admit guilt. That is why YOU should immediately ask the cop..." Officer..Why the stop?" It makes him clearly state why and at that point YOU have the upper hand in the conversation. It also keeps him from going on a fishing expedition and looking for other things to charge you with.
