OHIO over Michigan - Monty Python - 03-16-2012 09:26 PM

65-60 Go Bobcats good win for OU & for the MAC

RE: OHIO over Michigan - niutwo two - 03-16-2012 09:34 PM

Easiest game of the tourney to pick. Michigan has not much size and many Ohio players were on the team when they beat G'town. Bigten is way overrated except for Msu many Bigten teams loaded up with home games. Ohio and Akron will be even better next year.

RE: OHIO over Michigan - HuskieRak - 03-16-2012 09:46 PM

Got that one right... but having Mizzou in the final four was an awful pick

RE: OHIO over Michigan - HuskiemobileMan - 03-16-2012 10:12 PM

HUGE for the MAC!!! 02-13-banana

RE: OHIO over Michigan - DiehardHuskie - 03-16-2012 10:28 PM

Great night. Duke and Mizzou go down.

Nice.

I think it's time for the NCAA tournament seeding committee to restore the MAC champ to the 12th seed. No more 13th seed garbage.

Why? Only Ohio has won games any games in the tourney the last 8 years (including this year). All other MAC teams are 0-6.

And the Dames of Notre went down as well! 02-13-banana

As much as I hate ND football, I just can't get that hatred for the b-ball team. Not sure why. Probably because they don't have that arrogant attitude the football program has.

Sure they do. It's just not as well publicized.

Agree. During the loss to Xavier I saw one of their players after throwing up a lucky "shot" that went in get a foul call and he had that smug arrogant look on his face that you see on Duke players as he sideways stared down the player who got the foul called on him.

ND is basically Duke without the talent, wins, and Coach K.

My congratulations to Ohio, that said it is March and time to get the focus off of basketball and back where it belongs this time of year ... college hockey. My grad school alma mater the University of Denver is playing North Dakota for the WCHA championship this evening and the winner gets an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

GO PIONEERS beat the Fighting Souix!

The whole damn school and student body are loaded with arrogance.

Both have the same amount of wins this year in the NCAA tourney, except at least ND didnt choke against a 15 seed.

Watching the Ohio USF game and they mentioned that DJ Cooper went to seton and played with Tony Nixon from Northern Illinois. I still don't get why we weren't recruiting cooper.

RE: OHIO over Michigan - thxjoenovak - 03-18-2012 08:42 PM

Congrats again to the Bobcats...Now in the Sweet 16!

You never know, we may have been, Cooper might've been smart enough to stay away from Ricardo.

Good that a MAC team made it to the Sweet 16. Now a North Carolina beatdown
