Blown call. As a referee for 20 something years, they missed that one. No foul on USM b/c the two ECU players collided with each other. No foul on Kemp b/c he went straight up (it is legal to jump straight up in the air even with contact = no foul...) They have to let players block shots. Period.
The question is, have they been calling fouls that way all game? Consistency is the main issue here.

This seems to be a trend in the tourney. The officials just don't let the game get into any kind of rhythm. The MU / Tulsa game was the same way.

Get us the video on the foul call on Darnell Dobson when he clearly blocked the three point shooter's shot with all ball. It lead to a three point turnaround. And let's vote on that one.

That WAS a foul.
Sure there was some acting but he connected with the elbow, just not in the mouth.

Everyone knows that not just CUSA refs suck, but almost all refs in college basketball suck.
So why do so many choose to cry and complain about something that is a given?

We don't like the way our game went, especially after watching more video from yesterday, including Mill's acting job. And reading what he said in the post game press conference, documented by the Jackson Clarion Ledger.
So..we're venting. We're allowed to vent. If you people don't like it, tough sh*t.
And we'll get over this when we feel like getting over this. Our timeline....not yours......

wrong. Mills was moving his back even before Morrow started to turn. MIlls comments post game:
"I knew what they were going to see (on the video). I had to give the refs something to look at" (Smiling and talking about his acting job on
the Morrow non-flagrant foul and the refs video review.) That was a flop, plain and simple.

The NCAA allows refs to call too many games a year. Tom O'Neill, who was a ref during the memphis/utep game last night, has called 82 games this season. I dont care who you are but after that workload you are gonna make mistakes from fatigue.

They looked at the video to see if it was a flagrant tech on your guy. It wasn't, but obviously an offensive foul.

It's a fast game full of fast, strong, and talented players who get above the rim and seemingly defy gravity at will. Every game is full of bang-bang calls. There are hundreds/thousands of no call/call opportunities in a game and mistakes will happen by coaches, players and officials.
I'm surprised that there aren't more issues with calls.
The only thing that's perfect about the game is the fans. Thank God for us.

obviously.....it wasn't an offensive foul. it was an acting job by Mills. He knows it. We all know. Except for you and the blind refs.
