There's most definitely a party going on at the Daily Kos and democratic underground today.

RIP.

I'm sure RobertN, Max Power, and Atlantic are all drinking to his untimely death.

RIP.

Why would I care one way or another? I didn't know him.

The Daily Kos authors? Probably not. This will hurt their page views.

The DU guys? yea, those guys are just crazy.

Those who don't believe in an afterlife value this life greatly, its our only shot, not going to celebrate a guy's death. Guy died far too young.

Yup to the bolded part. I dont care what someone in his line of work does, no kid should be without what seems to be a really good dad.

43 years old. Ouch.

If the ABC News link's comments were littered with trash, I can only imagine what's happening in the real left-leaning blogosphere. There will be far more sadness over in DU's world when Fidel Castro finally keels over.

But let's be fair here... if Michael Moore were to choke to death on a hamburger tonight, neocon boards and comment sections would be expressing the same not-so-subtle rejoicing.

Some people take this whole writing about politics thing way too seriously and personally.

A man died. A wife lost her husband. 4 kids lost their father. Those things are infinitely more important to real life than anything he wrote on a blog or said on TV.

Not a fan....but..I am sorry for his family. 43 is very young.

...but not as much as the owners of AYCE buffets in L.A.

Very sad for his wife and kids. R.I.P. Andrew.

As Mini Power has made the case that what is posted on a network's website is clearly indicative of the majority of viewers that watch it what does that say about ABC? Media Matters, Mini Power's source for all news had to disable comments in their's because of the vile comments about this story. Guess we know what that makes Mini Power.

RE: RIP Andrew Breitbart - Bull_In_Exile - 03-01-2012 02:29 PM

Breitbart was particularly hated because he was 'off the reservation'. Them man was a life long liberal and lefty on cultural issues until he saw Clarence Thomas get raked over the coals for being a Black Conservative.

He was effective because he knew how they thought and was always one step ahead of them. He knew the machine of the left and exposed it.

--

Beyond all that he was a pretty nice guy, and like others are saying a dad, husband, brother, and son...

RIP...

I don't know about that but I DO know, the rightwing congress was having a love fest/circle jerk over the man(well, not literally "over" the man because that would just be sick) today.

Any of you notice that while the majority on here have expressed regret that a father, husband, etc. was lost......but not old
faithful Robert. No siree. He's only concerned with the fact that a person that exposed liberal fraud is now dead and he is gleeful.

I did? Really? My comment was that congressmen were having a circle jerk-which they were. I saw them live on CSPAN. They were making the man out to be a saint. Of couse it is too bad the man died. It sucks when someone you know(or don't know) dies. I am not a heartless person. I would even feel bad if Rebel passed away.
