Regardless what happens in SB 46, - UConn-SMU - 02-04-2012 10:26 AM I think we can all agree the Patriots are the premier franchise in the NFL. Five Super Bowls in eleven years? In the salary cap era, that's impressive. RE: Regardless what happens in SB 46, - RaiderATO - 02-05-2012 05:18 PM I'm a Braves fan. Making it to the championship never got them any credit, so I'm not going to give the Pats credit for the years they didn't win it... RE: Regardless what happens in SB 46, - ClairtonPanther - 02-05-2012 10:47 PM I really think the Patriots needed to win their 4th SB to be put into elite company. Steelers and Giants each won 2 in the same time span. Overall the Steelers have 6 wins, with the 49ers and Cowboys at 5, and the Giants and Packers at 4. Without looking at the stats from the past 20 years, I don't think any team has as many playoff appearances as the Steelers(feel free to correct me on this), and as many wins. I think the Patriots really have a long way to go before I'd consider them the Premier Franchise in the NFL. And with Big Ben only 30, the Steelers has a great chance to pull away from the pack. |
