Knew he was enrolled at NIU last semester and working out like crazy BUT...

Has he officially joined the team?

Would he be considered a commit for this class so we will know on signing day?

Did Doeren tell him that he would have to prove himself for a season before he got a scholarship?

I've worked with Gio....he's a nice guy and built like a tank. Would love to see him playing for NIU.

Wasn't Bowers a late decommit from NIU out of High School?

I hope that Doeren RS Settle this year...he is fast but it would be best for the future if he was.

I liked this kid before and even more now...

Also seems like he's a workout warrior with Womble.

If he played at COD last year, then he will only have 2 years left to play.

This would be news...I heard he was enrolled at NIU last fall.

He is not on the 2011 COD roster

I thought someone said in an earlier thread that he did. If he did not, then he would have 3 years to play.

he was at COD, you can tell from his twitter post on the 1st post. However, it looks like he didnt tally any stats in 2010 so maybe he didnt actually play which gives us 3 years. ill keep looking into it.
