STORRS -- Antonio Kellogg has been arrested again.

The suspended UConn freshman guard allegedly attempted to punch a police officer and resisted arrest on campus Saturday night.

According to UConn police, Kellogg was seen inside Hale Hall, the dormitory he was barred from by UConn's Department of Residential Life after the fall semester. According to the arrest report, Kellogg became combative and resisted when UConn police detained him. Police said Kellogg attempted to punch a police officer as the officer was trying to restrain him.

Kellogg, 19, was charged with criminal intent to assault a police officer, criminal trespass and interfering with an officer. He was released on $5,000 bond and is to appear in Rockville Superior Court April 19.

Kellogg, from Oakland, Calif., is to appear in court Wednesday on another charge of possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. He was arrested March 27 off campus in Mansfield.

The arrest Saturday could mean further disciplinary action, including expulsion, could be taken by the school in addition to criminal penalties Kellogg might face.

UConn officials said Kellogg is still suspended from the team until the end of the semester, but there is virtually no chance he will return to the Huskies.
