I'm happy to help, though I think I'm the only big 12 person on these boards, as I actually graduated from a big 12 school.

There are a couple of OSU, Baylor, and Kansas fans on the Realignment Board.

RE: Can we get this place going? - BewareThePhog - 10-28-2011 02:15 PM

Welcome to the Big 12 thecomet89! As dysfunctional as this conference has been lately, we have a lot of good schools and good fans. It's good to have a program that has had success in both flagship sports joining the conference.

Thanks for the welcome! As I have very limited knowledge of all the schools in the Big 12, can you guys give me some information reguarding the schools and where the stadiums are located? I am wanting to make plans to fly to an away game or two whenever we do start league play......although if I can drive I will....not a fan of heights lol

Thanks for the info. Im thinking about a few of the games I want to attend next year. Where are some good places to eat and stay? Not sure which games I'll go to yet. Just trying to think ahead.

Kinda hard to figure out what games you're going to travel to when you don't know which games are away or not... 05-stirthepot

Besides being a TCU alum and fan, I have deep roots with the Big 12 (or the old Big 8). I grew up in Norman, have been to a ton of Sooner games. Plus my family has alums from Iowa State going back to the last 1800s. Needless to say I have watched a ton of Big 8 and Big 12 football.

Glad the Frogs are part of the fun now.

I think we would take over Mizz. schedule, which means our first game would be against OU in Morgantown.....Rivalry? 05-stirthepot
