That oh so great pass D that both SMU and now UAB have exploited? SMU I understood, but UAB? Season high passing numbers? Easiest OOC schedule ever, maybe? And they went 2-2 against it? Blah!

Gotta give credit to UAB though. Their QB looked good.

Yeah, but UAB's receivers dropped too many passes. They should've beaten us by two more touchdowns than they did. But I know full well what kind of struggles you go through when you start the season 0-6.

Depends on which plays you were watching, I guess. They had this one receiver who was badly outrunning our secondary, but he couldn't catch a cold. UAB should've put up 37 or 40 points.

I got to watch some of that game at the gym earlier.. It looked like SMU receivers were open 90% of the time. But they were fast as all get out. I'm anxious to see how Southern Miss stacks against them.

I believe gdunn was referring to how we'll stack against SMU, not UCF, which seems to be what you were referring to.

Yeah. Gotta say I loved the commentators ripping the D tonight. Guys read their press clippings after awful Charleston Southern & BC games.
No starting OLB J.Davis & starting MLB played like ish.
UAB's QB looked great.
Plus GOL had no cold weather gear; kept our better from the pocket QB on the bench --> Guy's an imbecile. Wish he'd retire/croak.

I can't wait for the USM offense to play against that all world UCF defense. Yep, that is going to be fun. I have a lot of respect for SMU, but I don't have an ounce of respect after tonight for that clown team UCF.
