Note: not going to post exact quotes because its premium info from Pantherlair and Panthers Digest.
Overall the move was well received by incoming commits. Some generally said that Pitt will have to recruit more "speed" and can't wait to play against FSU and Clemson. A couple didn't like the move because of the basketball side of things.

The move is also well received by Hoop fans-which is a surprise to me tbh. Some recruits that are thinking about Pitt and Cuse pretty much say conference affiliation doesn't matter and they're looking at Pitt or Cuse specifically. And some say that the ACC is now the toughest hoops league in the nation and NC and Duke won't dominate anymore.
