I love the SBC logo on the field, but I was wondering why you guys put it on there so soon?
Another question, why does the Jag Band sit on the visitors side? Or is that the student section at Ladd-Pebbles?

Yeah, the band sits right next to the student section (and to the right of it). The student section takes up the middle sections around the 40's and 50.
As far as the logo, being the first televised game, I'm guessing they wanted it to be known and recognized that we were moving up? And the conference we'd be in? First time that's been on the field.
And that was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. Tons of room for improvement.

Anyway, USA has been in the Belt since 1976 and it's great to see the football Jags get things underway.

West Alabama is D-II. USA was 4-0 against FCS opponents last year.
