This is priceless. I've learned this week that liberals hate America and the flag and hate God, that the President of the United States is not only unAmerican but not a REAL black man. Whatever that means. Any "real" black men out there that can shed some light on what qualifies?

The former CEO of Godfather's Pizza, who is the only black candidate among the major Republican hopefuls, expanded on his views about Obama in an interview with The New York Times magazine.
In the magazine's "Talk" feature, Cain was asked about his statement at a Tea Party rally in March that the mainstream news media are "doubly scared that a real black man might run against Barack Obama."
"A real black man is not timid about making the right decisions," Cain tells the magazine. As for Obama, Cain goes on to say "it is documented that his mother was white and his father was from Africa. If he wants to call himself black, fine. If he wants to call himself African American, fine. I'm not going down this color road."
When pressed if he's saying that Obama is not really a black man, Cain responds "not in terms of a strong black man that I'm identifying with" and cites the civil rights leader and his father, Luther Cain Jr.
Cain said his dad didn't have a lot of formal education but had a "Ph.D. in common sense."

You shouldn't be shocked. It's been known for quite some time that progressives are anti-American, hate God, the Flag, Apple Pie and we all refuse to stand and remove our hats for the National Anthem. I think these are all requirements in the liberal manifesto.

I can't find the quote where Obama claims to be a "REAL" black man, while maintaining that his (black) political opponent isn't.

As someone who lives on the outskirts of D.C., i'm not surprised by comments along those lines from Eleanor Holmes Norton. She is being critical of his decisions which - in her view - hurt the African-American population.
But she's not a Presidential candidate, and the context is entirely different. I understand the desire to hang the comment of one Representative on the entire "left", but let's not be disingenuous here. We're talking about Herman Cain and his opponent, Barack Obama.
I just wonder if someone can define what a "real black man" is, and - by extension - what would make one NOT a "real black man".

Not so much this thread but just about every other thread, that's all we hear about, the whole anti-american liberal thing - so there's no issue with comprehension. And many of the comments we're referring to were made by you.

When it comes to being "black", in the sense of MOST black people, Herman Cain is all black. Obama is hybrid pampered by white liberals his entire life.
Care to disagree? Have at it. There is NOTHING he has in common with most black people in the South, where the majority of blacks live. Obama is whiter than I am. I'm a, what do you call me? A "redneck". One of those "southerners". ....as are most black people.
