More garbage from Bleacher Report... - MTPiKapp - 08-28-2010 01:11 PM

This guy, Danny Flynn, picks who he thinks is the best at each position in each conference.

QB: Jeff Van Camp FAU
RB: Bobby Rainey WKU 03-lmfao
WR: Jamal Jackson UNT 03-lmfao
TE: Ladarious Green UL
OT: James Brown Troy
Interior lineman: Tyler Clark Troy
DT: Shavod Atkinson UNT
DE: Jamari Lattimore MT
ILB: Demario Davis ASU
OLB: Craig Robertson UNT
CB: Anthony Gaitor FIU
S: Jeremy Kellem MT
Top overall difference maker: Dwight Dasher MT

Only 7 of his 12 position picks were on the first team released back in July. Not sure what's more idiotic, not having Dunbar or not having Jernigan...

Jamaal Jackson better than Jerrel Jernigan?? no..

RE: More garbage from Bleacher Report... - MG61 - 08-28-2010 03:17 PM

Jamaal is a top receiver, but he isn't even the best playing for UNT.:odie:

Were you seriously laughing at Bobby Rainey?

I dont think he was laughing at Rainey's ability per se, but rather the fact that he is top in the league.

The 'Belt has some VERY good established RB's this season. Dunbar @ UNT and Morris @ FAU in particular. Seemed a bit odd to me to put Rainey over those two.

I was surprised at him putting JVC for FAU at the top. I think he has the ability to be there but wont have the protection to make it happen for him. I would of thought Dasher (untill his atomic meltdown) would of been there.

Ill give him credit for not following the pack on his selections though.

As others had speculated, it's laughable to think he's the best in the belt. A solid player no doubt, but at least at this point, he's probably at best the number 3 RB in the belt.
