I assume they tore it down. Not sure about Charlotte's. I've been gone since '87.

Charlotte's Place was torn down in the 1990's. It was on the east side of Coooper very close to Peabody. It might have been in the same building as Kitty's. I assume that it became Charlotte's Place after it was Kitty's. I don't remember Kitty's.

Right across the street on the SW corner is currently Slider Inn. Before that it was a lesbian bar called One More. Before that it was called Nikita's and there was a full suit of armor that stood outside the front door.

my parents lived in those apartments just to the right of justines when they were first married. so i was concieved about 50 yards from the front door of that restrurant.

is that too much information?

Man ........... Miss Kitty's that takes me way way back. Early 1970's at least.

They had a bar upstairs and downstairs. PBR on-tap was cheeeeeep.

I went to a bunch of great concerts at The Ritz including George Thorogood and the Destroyers who was recording at Ardent with Terry Manning at the time.

The Ritz was the best venue in my day (well, along w/ Lafayette's Music Room). The National Lampoon Revue was absolutely hilarious. Even watched Pittsburgh beat up on Dallas in Super Bowl whatever there. Lot's of memories.

I lived in Millington when I was in the first grade (Lucy Elementary). This guy was the ice cream man in my neighborhood.
