I honestly hope that they lose out the rest of the season so that a decision is made and they can go after Shannahan or Cowher. Sources have said that Cowher is only interested in two jobs, the Bears and the Texans.

The best man to run the Bears in Brian Billick. He knows offense, knows the NFC North and is very well respected and acts like a General when it comes to player management.

Bill Cowher isn't going to be in the price range of the McCaskeys. And Mike Shanahan is terribly overrated. He's still living off the legacy of winning 2 Super Bowls in the mid-90's. Beyond that he didn't do a thing in Denver the past 6 seasons.

Good points although the last time Billick won anything was 2000 when he won the superbowl.

Lets see here,
2001 10-6 Ravens lost in the Divisional Round to Pittsburgh
2002 7-9 No Playoffs
2003 10-6 Lost in the wild card round
2004 9-7 No playoffs
2005 6-10 No Playoffs
2006 13-3 Lost to Indy in the Divisional Round
2007 5-11 No Playoffs

I am not sure if he is that much greater.
