Was Chris Marcus really that good, or did he just have huge potential? I don't have the stats before me, but it seemed like he was "almost" really good, and expected to be totally dominant, but never quite got there. That is an honest question. I just don't remember.

He was named AP Honorable All American in 2001 and 2002.
He was All SBC in 2000 and 2001.
He made the All SBC Tournament team in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
He led the nation in rebounding in the 2000-2001 season with 12.1 RPG.
Chris was very good but His career was cut short by a foot injury. He never reached His full potential.

The really beautiful thing about Marcus was that if we missed a shot the rebound was his... and it was going back in.
