wow, I used to work for Mt. Hawley a few years ago and my dad was the head pro there for a while before Arrowhead. I worked at the shop for a season and then moved to the clubhouse. What is your dad's name (u can pm me)? My folks are probably decent friends. I love the course as well. (im glad they got rid of that dumb bunker on 2). and theres nothin more peaceful than an afternoon on the back 9 there.

I am a former 1-AA college football player, and I am a close relative to one of the freshman on the NIU team this year.

I met the coaches and I am now a DIE HARD NIU football fan!! I am so excited for this team, the great new coaching staff, and to hopefully meet and get to know many of you over the course of the next few years.

I will probably be at ALL the home games, and any away games in the midwest for the most part. I am looking forward to the rest of the season, and I had a great time cheering in the rain last saturday!!

Please use this as a place to introduce yourself here and take that leap! Welcome in advance!

Hello everyone,
I joined back in the winter when there was not much going on so every now and then I would lurk, but with the start of the season I think I will be here more often and try posting. Well a little about me I never use to like football until I became an usher and got paid and free food to watch the games (best job ever) that was back in 2005 and I fell in love and worked till I graduated. Well three years later I went to my first official tailgate and well then I was hooked. Well I went to every home game last year and the MACC along with watching all the away games. Hopeful this year I can make it to an away game. Also, I am alum of 07 and 10 and because I love NIU so much I decied to stay and work in DeKalb and call it home.

Hello Huskie fans . I have the privelage to be married to Chandler's Aunt. Her Brother Ron is Chandler's Daddy. It's no wonder that Chandler is a quality kid. He comes from good stock and a supportive community. If you think Chandler's is good, his little brother is a Freshman in high school and was voted defensive player of the year. Hey guys long time listener first time caller here.

I early enrolled to Northern in 2003. Went there 2004-2008 for Computer Science and really loved my time there. Played ultimate frisbee for the Club team there for 3-4 years, so I probably have more time spend practicing on that bottle cap ridden south tailgating field then I want to know about. My friends and I in Douglas tried our best to make it to every game during my years there. A lot of cold days standing on the student side.

Living in Chicago now and wish I had the PTO left to take off this friday and make my way out to detroit.

Sweet, nice to have a fellow Ultimate player on the board. I forgot you made the original design to that. I kept trying to remember when we were making the new-ish design I have pictured.

I've lurked around here for awhile but finally have begun to post. Love reading the banter that goes on here. Been big into NIU since I came to college. 08. Yeah...I'm young.

And I most certainly have a problem with college football!

Glad to have you with us. :-)
You'll find a lot more people posting and lots going on once we get into football season. Things are kind of quiet right now.
