Anybody have any clue as to why?

Cause Bunting is a moron. That entire athletic program is going down in flames and I love it.

Seriously...oh wait, Bunting is a moron, so you were being serious.

Bunting was stupid by splitting time with Curry and Durant last year. That pissed Durant off. Then Bunting went on the radio and said that CJ Stephens (their transfer from Florida) would be the starting QB next year. Then Durant didn't show a recruit around during the recruiting season, and Bunting got mad and made him do some extra busy work. Durant scoffed at that, and decided he was going to transfer.

There was a little more stuff than that, but there's no need to go into detail. Bunting doesn't seem to be the best people person.

"His decision was based on personal reasons, which he did not identify, and was not based on any problems with the coaching staff, said Durant, reading from a written statement at a news conference.

Durant did not answer any questions from reporters. As he left the news conference, coach John Bunting hugged Durant and told him, "Good luck to you, buddy."

Bunting said he could not elaborate on Durant's reasons for transferring."

Maybe the kid did not feel comfortable there?? Maybe Bunting was not going to kiss an 18-19 year olds ass?? Who knows.
