i just saw it on espn.com. it doesn't say who we gave up, hopefully no one with any value.

I think the Jays made out pretty well on this deal, actually. Accardo may not sound like much, but he has a very good arm. ERA's high but he's good very good peripherals - almost one K an inning, low walk total, less than a hit an inning allowed, and a .247 average against.

Hasn't Feliz been awful this year? Smart move IMO, Accordo isn't anything better than a middle reliever, Hillenbrand is a .300 hitter.

It's pretty interesting book. Although the writers obviously hate Bonds. It does show very good backround on Conte and BALCO. I recommend it to both of you.
