In a recent campaign speech Kerry criticized Bush for not cleaning up the intelligence problems in the months leading up to 9-11. Since problems of the magnitude described by Kerry could not have occurred in the 7 months leading up to 9-11 that Bush was in office, the CORE problem must have been with the previous administration. :D

One must infer that Clinton created many problems, failed to address or clean them up, and left the for them Bush administration.

You can infer that, if you'd like, but you can't say that Kerry said it. Putting words in people's mouths again just like your hero, Sedated Rush.

The CIA was essentially intact from the Clinton administration at the time of 9-11, HOW can Bush clean up 8 years Clinton's mistakes in 7 months? :D

If there were problems with the intelligence agencies in the months leading up to 9-11, it was the previous 8 years that were the primary contributor. Either Clinton messed it up or didn't clean it up I'll leave it to the Democrats to decide.

I think everyone thinks the intelligence agencies had problems pre 9-11, BUT the issues didn’t start on Jan. 20, 2001. It took years of neglect to get there. So Democrats choose, did Clinton mess it up, or fail to clean it up. 03-wink

It didn't take Bush much longer than that to do a 180 with budget surpluses - I guess he's only quick when it comes to spending other people's money.

As for the intelligence, pubs seem to forget that they took it as gospel (like fools) and used it to make a case to Congress about the need to invade. Did the CIA quote the part about the "mushroom cloud" in their intelligence?

I'm just curious - when does anything that pubs have ****ed up become pubs' fault, or is there always someone else to blame?

Rush has quite the head start in the "being a biased, lying *******" department.

Do you REALLY want to know the truth about the CIA? FINE! Senator Toricelli and OTHER Democrats passed a law that stated that thr CIA couldn't hire "shady" characters. Well, ....HELLOOOOOOO!!! Who the hell SHOULD they recruit as informants? Also, it was the Democrats that stated the CIA and the FBI shouldn't share information as the CIA=outside the US and FBI=inner US.

Don't blame the effin Republicans for your own shortcomings.

FACT: Bush was in office 7 months. He had one attack and went after them with a vengeance.

FACT: Clinton was in office for 8 years and had 4 by Islamic terrorists, ...and did nothing aside than trying to please his constituents. A missile or two? "F" you Bill.

If you want to blame someone, blame the Democrats. Otherwise, it's laughable.

Rush might come off as arrogant, perhaps demagogic at times...but I'd challenge you to find a lie in anything he's said.

Michael Moore? I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Comparing these 2 people is like comparing a US soldier to Sirhan Sirhan - there isn't a comparison to make.
