I don't really understand why you guys want us to lose. We aren't a threat to you, and if we lose, it just makes your own conference look weaker.
I guess our basketball success has really soured you guys on our terrible football team, huh.

Duke Fans: We are just happy we won, we are happy for the excitement to be back and we are happy for our team. Bring on Louisville!
ACC Fans: You should not be excited until you beat a real team, which ECU isn't. Duke fans still suck.

Nate and LL, I root for Duke football to win, it only can strengthen the conference. As much as I hate Duke basketball, and would love to see them lose every game for the next 10 years, enough is enough. Any team, no matter how much I hate, I feel compassion for after a really bad stretch. I don't think Duke football deserves its misery just because we hate Duke basketball. As long as the Terps can still whip 'em, I wish Duke football all the best, and I hope you guys actually start to get some enthusiasm behind the program. Duke is a likely road trip for us and many other Terps, and even though I hope we can outnumber you down there in your own stadium, I'd still like to meet some of you guys.
And there are some fans everywhere that like to rub salt.
Now go out there and kick Navy's ass!
