Who can't wait for baseball season? I'm really anxious for Spring Training to see how the Braves new guys look. Even though a lot of people think the Braves will be down this year, I'm optimistic and ready to get the season going! 04-rock

Thank god it will soon be baseball season. I'm so sick of all those crappy sports: NFL, NBA and all college sports.

I have a bad feeling about my Giants this year. There are too many "if's", if you know what i mean.

Sorry Terpy, the O's are gonna be 4th in the AL East.

NL division winners:
Phillies
Cubs
Giants
Wild card: Padres (Astros being a close second)

AL division winners:
yankees
royals
angels
Wild card: Red Sox (with the A's being a close second)

Count me in! This could be the most competitive year in a long time. So many teams are really trying to improve. Heck, when the Royals are early favorites to win their division, you know it's gonna be an exciting year. :eek: 04-rock

This just in:

The Giants suck #%$!!

And the Astros will make the playoffs as a wild card because Oswalt will get injured during the season. But he will be healthy come playoff time, and they will win the WS.

You know it is bad when you dwell on the past. This season. Giants won't make the playoffs. The Astros will be in the World Series.

That is actually a great statement. One must dwell on the past in life to enjoy the happiness, feel the pain, and live the moment. Improve yourself through reflection. Glorious reflection. The Astros will use past failure as motivation.

good point, but the the cubs are still a better team in the division, and there a lot of improving teams that will vie for the wildcard slot

The only thing I have predicted the Astros to ever do is make the playoffs until this year. I have never said anything about the postseason.

Better team this year, Giants or Astros: Astros.

i knwo they aren't the favorites, but i think they have a shot. They have very good hitting, very good pitching and a very good bullpen.
