3. Arghh..he plays for Colorado..I want to say Edwards is his last name
4. Blaine Boyer, Ryan Langerhans, Jeff Francouer, Damaso Marte, Wilson Betemit, Kyle Davies, should I keep going?
5. Err...plays 1B too..had short stint in Braves minor league..can't remember name..ARGH
6. Roger Clemens
7. Not Dan Kolb...guess is Mariano Rivera
8. No clue

Pitt - I dont have a guess. Guardado is probably wrong

13. David Wright is the 3rd baseman. Floyd led in HR?
14. Pitcher for the Padres. Pitched in the All star game.
15. Swoosh's boy Caesar Izturis...umm..Rey Ordonez or Sanchez? I don't know
16. Outfielder for the Brewers...right? He was witht he Brewers then Mets..then came back I think.

some of those answers are wrong. bob boone is not the manager of the royals, buddy bell is. johhny damon did not lead the AL in batting at any pt. this season, brian roberts always has. also, manny led the AL in RBI, not ortiz.

and gdawgs, i'm very surprised you didn't know about huston street. he's been some of the hottest baseball news this summer.

I know about Huston Street. I've seen him pitch several times this year, and he got a save against the Braves I remember. I just thought Duchsherer became the closer a few weeks ago.

Street/Duchscherer have been sort of rotating as closers, so either one would've been an acceptable answer. I had a Freudian slip on thinking Boone was the Royals manager.

And yes, when I made this post, Damon was leading the AL in hitting at .344 compared to Roberts' .342, and Big Papi had an 82-81 lead in ribbies.

actually, b-rob was hitting .345 at the break, while damon was hitting .343. and manny had 81 RBI at the break, while ortiz had 75. kind of a big difference.

Idea for next one:

Set a chat time and meet in the chat room. Have a time limit on how long you can have to answer a question, so nobody can cheat.
