a bunch of B.S. if you ask me. Since when do you get a penalty for hitting the QB too hard?
It certainly wasnt a late hit, other then that I see nothing wrong with the hit.

Penalty or not...

It was a preview of "things to come"

In 2004 we return 21 of our first 22 offensive
players.

7 of our top 8 Defensive backs...

Half of our Defensive line...

With Nicholsan getting so much playing time...the
emergence of McGrew and Sims, the loss of our
three linebackers, will soon be considered a mute
point.

...The beat goes on

Already looking to 2004? Better stick with this season for now. FSU still will have their hands full with UM, ND and UF. Oh, and there's always the perennial letdown (remember Louisville). Possibly Clemson or NC State. And lest not forget that FSU will inevitably have some kind of player academic issues or troubles with the law at some point. Better keep focused on this season Paul. Still looking at 8-4, non-BCS ranked, but champs of the toughest (insert snicker) conference in the NCAA and once again backing into a BCS bowl.

Stick to this year...FSU 5-0 & UM is 4-0 about to be 5-0, hopefully with a win against West Virginia.
UGA already has their 1st loss of the season.
I dont see whats wrong with Paul talking about FSU in 2004.
You're bringing up little comments about last year, the Louisville game and backing into a BCS Bowl game, etc.
If I had to choose I would much rather talk about a teams future then what happend last year, thats in the past, its over with.
There is still alot of football left to play and whos to say how the outcome of this season will be.
YouGeeAye, wasnt it you who made a post about FSU and UGAs schedule and what they would win and lose?
You said Colorado would be a loss for FSU.
Hey, its one game at a time, and compared to last year Im happy with FSUs outcome so far
5-0 (2003) compared to 4-1 (2002)
Gave up 37 (2003) points compared to 103 (2002) after 5 games.
Another thing people forget is before this season started alot of people kept saying how FSU would be very lucky to win 5 games this season, if that.
FSU still has a much tougher road to travel and it starts in 2 weeks, but so far so good.
UGA has alot of football to play also, good luck to you with the rest of the season

Hmmmmm, opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one. You best be worrying about Georgia, cause they're more likely to go 8-4 than FSU.

Notre Dame sucks. Pure and simple. They are not the powerhouse they were last year.

Florida - they won't beat the Seminoles this year either. No defense.

Now Miami is another story... will they get lucky in the 4th quarter again? Maybe yes, maybe no.

Now go home UGI and quit being obsessed with Paul!!!

You just don't get it. UGA fans are still obsessed with Herschel Walker, Vince Dooley, and their championships in the early 80's. They sit around the tailgate grill and tell the tales of past glory like it was one of the best things to ever happen to them.

Shoot, it's the only damn thing I remember about the 80s and it is some of my best football memories! I did not miss one single home game from 1977-1980. One lean year and lot's of great years and great memories. Don't take that away from me! Oh, and I also remember Virginia kicking the crap out of us for our homecoming game in 1977.

Wanna bet MsNole? Watch me dominate like I did last year!

Speaking of Walker...

I saw him play in his first ever pro football game...an
exhibition game played in Winter Park, Fla.

That was the game, when he hurt his shoulder...he never
ever was the same player after that. That thing nagged
him his entire career.

btw...remember the "classic" play when he ran over that
Tennessee defender...Did y'all know that UT DB went on to a
great career in the NFL?

Y'all remember who he was?
