Darryl Drake, Wide Receivers coach for the soon-to-be Super Bowl Champions Chicago Bears :) spent quite a bit of time on the Hill.

Maybe if he is part of a super bowl coaching staff he will be a member of the distinguished alumni.

Or maybe if we need a head coach (after Elson proves everybody wrong and wins a couple of NO bowls and accepts a higher paying job) he would consider the pay cut???

I hear we have a position open for an Offensive coordinator. Think he might want it?

Drake was offered the job when it was open in 2003. The money wasn't close to getting Drake away from a 225k job at Texas and he sure won't come here while making upwards of 500k in the NFL.

On a side note, there are a few other former Toppers in the NFL. Rob Ryan is a former Top coach that is the Defensive Coordinator for the Raiders and former assistant Don Martindale is the LB coach for the Raiders. Jason Michael was just promoted to the quarterback coaching job of the New York Jets. Of course Romeo Crennel is the head coach of the Browns.
