Top 3 rushing leaders 2003

1) Darren Sproles, Kansas State, 1,986 yards
2) Derrick Knight, BC, 1,721 yards
3) Patrick Cobbs, North Texas, 1,680 yards

Great :bang:

It's called putting 9 guys in the box and hope for the best. Those teams' best weapon is the run game, so you make them beat you in the air.

Sproles can be stopped, Marshall stopped him.... 9/20/03 D. Sproles 14 carries for 77 yrds 1 TD .... Long 14. So he can be stopped

We allowed 215.8 yards rushing per game to our opponents in 2003  . We are switching from a 4-4 to a 4-3 next season. Whatever it takes we MUST improve our rush defense.

Go ahead, put 9 in the box for Cobbs. Our opponents will be surprised with North Texas' passing attack this season. We're loaded with receivers this year. :D

I think we will see a major overhaul in the defense next year, b/c of the juco's we have coming in. I hope they all perform like expected and we'll have a much better defense next year.

I have all the confidence in the world that Coach Bustle and the rest of the coaches will have the team prepared to stop those 2 players. We will shock the world!!!!

GEAUX CAJUNS!!!

Shock the World by going to New Orleans at the end of the season! I have confidence in Bustle taking us there in 2004!

I'll second that.. 04-cheers

Teams will greatly underestimate NT's offense this year. Good. FAU, Colorado and Baylor will be only the first to suffer!

- Cowtown - 02-27-2004 02:56 PM

Yes we will be better, but when you are in the bottom 1/4 of D-1 O's you don't have to do much to improve. It will all be on Hall. If he can hit the open deep man, we could be deadly, if not it will it will be like Memphis all year long.
