How does the clown that wrote the column come up with Akron having a weak schedule? We beat Kentucky, Ohio State, Michigan, NIU and Buffalo, Penn State and tied St Johns. I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two too. We also beat Maryland and SMU in the "pre-season."

Dork.

If our schedule is weak, why are we continually ranked as one of the top D1a soccer teams year in and year out 03-confused

Why is Gonzaga continually ranked high in bbal?

It's because the higher ups always try to screw the MAC. Once you realize this then everything makes sense. It's wrong but that is the NCAA for you.

NCAA disses MAC teams as do the Bowl game sponsors - onlinepole - 12-26-2005 09:59 PM

Why I don't know but the MAC gets the shaft in any NCAA competition. Why does the MAC get only 1 NCAA big dance bid when on several occassions MAC teams have advanced past the 1st round? Yeah Akron lost today but this was the 1st loss by a MAC team to CUSA in a bowl game. Why the hell does CUSA get 6 bids and the MAC only 2? Why does the Big 12 North get 5? It's all about keeping the non BCS programs in their place. 04-chairshot 05-mafia
