Rivals has the Cajuns being the first to offer this QB from Lafayette
John Hundley
6-3 208 4.8

This kid is the real deal. I've got friends from STM that keep trying to get me to go to STM games to watch him, but since I went to the "other" Catholic high school in Lafayette, I just can't push myself to enter Cougar Stadium. Anyway, from what they say, he is a dual threat, much like Mike Vick and Jerry. It would be nice to get him to come here, especially if these other schools are interested in him.

Hundleys father was a linebacker for USL in the 70's...

A finer person you will never meet..

Hope the kid makes the right decision and becomes a Cajun.

Z.

Acctually, bein a Cajun would be a bonus, but I hope he does the right thing and goes to college to get an education, not to just play sports.

It would be great-----to have two real good QB's from STM. I sure have heard and read alot of good things about Hundley. He would make a real good addition to the team.

- Tuffguy20 - 10-27-2004 03:36 PM

whatchya talken about, we do have 2 great STM QB's on our team with Matt Lane and Jerry Babb. I've always been impressed with Lane's determination.

Well, John seems to be doing pretty good at STM as he is leading the #1 ranked team in 4A to the state semifinals and a shot at the Super Dome Classic. Cougars play Northside this week at STM. Go check him out, you won't be disappointed.

The last 2 signings we had will definitely help the rank of our recruiting class. I really hope that we get some more O-Linemen b/c QB's and RB's will do nothing if we don't have the beef to protect them.

A few LB's in that group we're going to have to get some of them next year.
