The Ukranian siege of Alyoshki is over - Todor - 10-30-2026 06:02 PM
A safe corridor has been established, and Russia humanitarian workers have reached the village bringing food, medicine, clothing and supplies. 50 Russian doctors and paramedics were among the convoy that entered.
Those wanting to remain in Russia are being relocated and temporarily housed in safe areas.
Those wanting to go to Ukraine are being encouraged to do so as soon as Ukraine clears a corridor for them to travel thru.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised by Russian charities to help the residents rebuild or resettle.
Hundreds of residents died during the months long siege as Ukrainian drones constantly circled the city and took any movement to be movement of Russian military. Ukrainian considered the area to be heavily “pro Russian.” Hunger and lack of access to medicine took a heavy toll as well.

I can’t remember the name for it, but there is some psychological condition some people develop when they are impotent to change things in their own lives so they hyper fixate on the smallest details possible about other peoples.

This is where I 100% agree with you. We've got so many problems here people just pretend don't exist.... Yeah, yeah, it's better than Europe, Africa and Latin America but that's not saying much is it?
