The people spoke. Even this president got the message.
President Donald Trump (80) said Thursday that the Pentagon will no longer livestream the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, after the announcement faced bipartisan criticism and Vice President JD Vance said he wouldn’t watch it.
Trump said on social media that publicly airing the execution “might have been a strong deterrent for the World to witness how America deals with Terrorists and SCUM like Hasan.” But, he continued, “many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die, through streaming, or through any other visual device.”

I don't think he cared what the people thought about it; he did care what his senior advisers and VP thought. It was a bone-headed move anyway. I have no desire to witness any more death than I already have.

Agreed. He made the right call to not stream it. We're not that kind of people. (Well, a lot of us aren't.) Then again, I find it hilarious (well, typical, anyway) that the same political side who cheered on social media when Charlie Kirk was publicly assassinated are suddenly lecturing us on morality. And if the didn't cheer, they were at least justifying it based on what they think he said. (As in believing the leftist media lie.) They have no moral ground to stand on.

I'm only saying this for clarification, AM, but Luigi Mangione is the alleged (I say it loosely though he's pretty much confessed) assassin of the UnitedHealthCare (is it all one word?) CEO. But yes, the left cheered when Mangione allegedly shot the man so your point is valid.
