Baseball riddle - Erictelevision - 04-08-2026 10:51 PM The number 2 hitter comes to bat. The bases are empty with 0 outs. How is this possible? RE: Baseball riddle - stever20 - 04-08-2026 10:53 PM real easy- #1 hitter hit a homer or a little league homer. Or the first 10 guys all reached base, with the #1 hitter hitting a homer 2nd time around to clear the bases. Or if the leadoff guy got out to end prior inning and #2 hitter is leading off the next inning! RE: Baseball riddle - Erictelevision - 04-09-2026 02:03 PM Stever: correct with your 1st guess. I tried to think of a weird, esoteric reason, but Occam’s Razor prevailed. RE: Baseball riddle - goofus - 04-12-2026 02:55 PM Ok but is it possible in the first inning and the score is 0-0 ? RE: Baseball riddle - Erictelevision - 04-13-2026 08:37 AM Goofus: definitely. I never mentioned the score in the riddle. RE: Baseball riddle - Erictelevision - 04-14-2026 12:55 PM Charger: nope, a lead off HR is what I was thinking. |
