MLB clubs exiting Main Street Sports/Atlanta Braves will start their own network - AllTideUp - 02-02-2026 10:19 PM
Interesting stuff coming out this week:

All 9 MLB clubs are getting out of their contracts with Main Street Sports Group(owner of the FanDuel RSNs) as there's a good chance the organization enters bankruptcy.
Notably, the Atlanta Braves are planning their own network, but the details are scarce at the moment considering the season begins in a couple of months. The Braves plan on modeling their platform after the more recently created Texas Rangers network.
As a Braves fan that has struggled to watch the club for the last 4 years, I am looking forward to a new beginning.

Yeah, take me back to Ernie Johnson, Skip Caray, Pete Van Wieren, Joe Simpson, and Don Sutton.

Obviously for NHL markets you might be able to add them as well. They can cut out the middlemen like Main Street and run a netowek themselves

Seems pertinent, especially the end.
