thougets on Pearl's retirement?? replacement at Auburn?? - DawgNBama - 09-24-2025 12:08 PM To me, Coach Bruce Pearl is as big of a name as Tommy Tubberville or Pat Dye. No doubt, he had a huge impact on Auburn hoops. But as he finally has decided to conclude his career, I have to who Auburn will get to fill his big shoes? Will Auburn name the court after Coach Pearl? Edit: here's the tweet about it: RE: thougets on Pearl's retirement?? replacement at Auburn?? - JRsec - 09-24-2025 12:14 PM (09-24-2025 12:08 PM)DawgNBama Wrote: To me, Coach Bruce Pearl is as big of a name as Tommy Tubberville or Pat Dye. Will Auburn name the court after Coach Pearl? His son has been named Head Coach, announced it today, I knew it last night. Pearl had been in talks with the AD for a couple of years about how and when he would retire and about the importance of continuity with a winning coaching staff. It's likely he will assume to role of assistant AD (helps with state pension) and that he will be in charge of promoting Auburn's athletics and being someone who is out with the public and before the cameras. Whether he pursues politics or not has been a matter of speculation only. No information from Pearl about it. I’m glad he finally gets to retire from basketball. Big shoes to fill. |
