Brett McMurphy on Andy and Ari Podcast today… - murrdcu - 08-28-2025 01:32 AM
https://youtu.be/OccB4e1Ahhw?si=wG80da_CDAvWTvpx
Some highlights:
Brett McMurphy:
0. Surprised Maryland AD didn't say B1G would be 20-24 members by 2030
1. ND stays independent
2. B1G will pick from Big 12 and ACC AAU members. 13 AAU's ( 8 from ACC and 5 from B12)
3. FSU thinks they'll be AAU in a few years (lol)
4. University presidents will decide realignment.
5. from a B1G source: Utah/Salt Lake City is an untapped market. Has strong support from USC
6. UNC and UVA are top two picks of both leagues. (Staples thinks SEC gets both)
7. SEC to keep ND indy
8. Kansas vs Miami in B1G would depend on how much money they bring in Big Ten in President's minds.
9. ND independence until world explodes (does that mean ACC explodes? Not sure)
